‘U’ for Uncertainty - Massive uncertainty. Not even coming to the black swan, there is more and more events you can’t predict
‘C’ for Complexity - Because the world is big, extraordinarily complex. The world is truly multipolar.
‘A’ for Ambiguity - There is no simple answer. You need to live in the grey world where there is nothing like a ‘Yes/No’ black and white, kind of thing.

I absolutely love this talk from Pierre Nanterme, former CEO of Accenture who left the world too early, at the young age of 59 in 2019.
This talk is from 2012, and he’s back at his business school, talking with students in chairs where he once sat. He’s so comfortable, not constrained.
One of the things that jumps out is that even 13 years ago, he was talking VUCA, black swan events, natural and man made, accelerating technology, etc. And this was long before Covid of ChatGPT, which even now are fading in the rear view mirror of Sora Video.
